The global effort to increase energy efficiency in buildings and systems is spearheading the development of all those technologies capable of chipping in.
The field of HVACR has developed technologies which achieve the maximum energy saving in partial load conditions. The use of inverters combined with scroll- or screw compressors also achieves the utmost efficiency while maintaining the same operating limits as traditional units.

This is particularly beneficial for systems with variable load, e.g. in comfort applications, or in cases of extended operation time, which may involve variable conditions on the source side, e.g. with air-water units.

The compliance to the seasonal efficiency targets set by Ecodesign will push the adoption of units featuring inverter technology. Selecting now the best-fitting technology for projects, either in new systems or refurbishments, will grant economical sustainability throughout their life cycle time.
